My work spans the design, delivery and operation of hybrid container platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

My contribution

I gather requirements, produce high- and low-level designs, automate infrastructure, and remain involved in implementation and production troubleshooting. As technical lead, I also guide engineers through architecture trade-offs.

What I deliver

Architecture documentation, platform infrastructure, automated provisioning and configuration, and practical guidance for the team operating the platform.

Explore the technical scope

Application delivery, ingress and HAProxy, load balancing, security policies, scalability and operational reliability. Terraform and Ansible support provisioning and configuration; Prometheus and Grafana provide observability.

I build and standardise CI/CD and GitOps workflows so teams can work with consistent deployment patterns and traceable changes.

My contribution

I connect build pipelines, application configuration and deployment workflows, and guide engineers through their implementation.

What I deliver

CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using Tekton, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, with Helm and Kustomize for configuration and Quay for container images.

How this connects to platform operations

The work extends beyond a pipeline definition: I also support the ingress, load-balancing and observability layers that application delivery depends on.

At Red Hat, I worked on customer engagements across EMEA and later provided worldwide architecture guidance and technical enablement.

My contribution

I helped translate requirements into architecture recommendations, implemented enterprise solutions and supported customers through integration and post-deployment questions.

Platform implementations, automation, architecture guidance and technical workshops for customers and partners, supported by documentation and technical content.

Technologies and public examples

OpenShift, Kubernetes, RHEL, Identity Management, Satellite and Ansible, with architecture spanning on-premises, AWS and Azure environments.

My story

An operator’s grounding.
A consultant’s perspective.

I started in infrastructure: Linux and Unix systems, databases, storage and high availability. Working with production environments gave me a practical foundation for the architecture work that followed.

At Red Hat, that work became a conversation with customers. Consulting engagements meant understanding a new environment, delivering against a technical objective and helping people work with the result. I particularly enjoyed the mix of hands-on projects, different customers and travel.

Roles at SUSE and Camunda added a product perspective: customer feedback, technical explanation, positioning and collaboration with Product, Sales and Pre-Sales.

Today, I bring those experiences together as a Technical Lead at Version 1, staying involved in platform design, implementation and production operations while guiding other engineers.
